Germany launches the National Platform for the Reconstruction of Ukraine.

On March 27 during an event dedicated to the platform’s opening Germany discussed its potential contribution to Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction. It considered options for possible cooperation within the framework of the Multilateral Coordination Platform of Donors for Ukraine.

The Ukraine Reconstruction Platform aims to strengthen Germany’s contribution to reconstruction by enabling representatives of municipalities, business, academia, and civil society in Germany to learn about the rebuilding of Ukraine, participate in targeted activities and communicate with each other. It aims to increase the transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness of initiatives to reconstruct Ukraine.

The platform is designed to build on established German-Ukrainian relations and efforts to rebuild the Ukrainian government through a community of development partners.
