Germany is preparing a new support package, and the EU is getting closer to providing €5B in military aid to Ukraine.

Ukraine’s partners continue to support its defense capability. Recent developments include:
- Within a few days, the EU may allocate an additional €5B from the European Peace Fund.
- Germany is preparing to provide IRIS-T SLM anti-missile systems, Gepard anti-aircraft guns, artillery systems, more than 230,000 shells, more than 80 Leopard 1 A5 tanks, IFVs, 450 armored vehicles, and drones. The country also plans to organize the training of 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers.
- The Pentagon continues both publicly and privately to urge Congress to approve a request for Ukrainian aid. The White House does not see any weakening or disunity in the issue of support for Ukraine among the members of the Ramstein group.
- The Netherlands has announced that it is joining the IT coalition and providing a €10M contribution.
- France and Ukraine are discussing a draft agreement on “security guarantees,” and relevant negotiations are starting with Denmark.
- Six documents regarding cooperation in the defense industry were signed with Belgium.
