Germany is finalizing a €1.4B military aid package for Ukraine.
Christiane Hoffmann, the deputy spokeswoman for the German government, stated: “Germany continues its broad support to Ukraine, in particular, it is implementing another €1.4B aid package.” She also touched on the $50B loan that was conceived in the summer by the G7 countries. The Federal Ministry of Defense confirmed the preparation of a new package of military aid, which includes air defense equipment and artillery.
As well, Canada handed over to Ukraine modern LAV 6 armored vehicles equipped with medical equipment for evacuating the wounded.
Also, Lithuanian UAV manufacturer RSI Europe delivered the first batch of špokas FPV drones to Ukraine. The drone can carry up to five kilograms of explosives and has modern radio frequency hopping technology, allowing it to withstand enemy EW devices. This shipment is the first within the scope of a $4M contract. According to it, RSI Europe will supply špokas not only to the Armed Forces of Ukraine but also to the Armed Forces of Lithuania.
