Germany considers Ukraine an important trading partner and a country worth investing in.

“Ukraine is an important trading partner and it is also a place into which German companies should channel their investments. We appreciate it. Speaking at the opening of the 4^th German_Ukrainian Business Forum in Berlin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel that, “Two thousand German companies and their representative offices actively work in Ukraine now.” (Ukrinform). Merkel also praised recent reform laws passed in Ukraine, which “give investors more guarantees and protect their investments.”
