Germany and Norway are offering several grant programs to Ukrainian businesses.
The German government offers a financing tool aimed at existing companies with an annual turnover of at least €800,000 that want to invest in Ukraine or expand their activities at the local level.
Eligible projects can receive technical and financial support of up to €2M if the company covers at least 50% of the costs. It is essential that these projects, in addition to achieving long-term business goals, also bring sustainable benefits to the local population.
Among the priority directions are RES projects, energy efficiency, and environmentally friendly production.
Also, the Norwegian Refugee Council is starting a new program phase to support business owners who intend to start, restore, or move their business to the Volyn, Lviv, Ternopil, or Khmelnytskyi regions. Assistance will include financial grants of up to $5,000, awarded based on business needs. In addition, participants will receive business management training and technical assistance to facilitate the process of starting, relocating, or restoring a business.
