Gazprom has not booked additional capacity for the transit of gas through Ukraine in 2022.

Gazprom did not reserve additional capacity for gas transit through Ukraine and Poland from the first to the third quarter of 2022, and refused to reserve additional capacity for pumping gas through the Polish section of the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline. Against this background, the price of gas in Europe rose by almost 9%.
