France is establishing another €200M fund to support Ukraine’s reconstruction and European integration.

This fund aims to back projects in Ukraine related to rebuilding and connecting with the European market. The success of a previous grant agreement, signed last year, was driven by strong interest from French businesses. Applications for funding exceeded expectations threefold, prompting the French partners to increase their funding.
Simultaneously, the French Development Agency (AFD) will allocate €5M to Lviv to reconstruct a portion of Mykolaychuk Street, near the UNBROKEN center, and for building the foundation of a future tram line there. The new tram line will span 2.6 kilometers in total.
Additionally, the Cabinet of Ministers has designated ₴22B for reconstruction efforts. Almost ₴18.5B from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will go toward medicine, education, agriculture, humanitarian demining, and utilities restoration. About ₴1.4B is allocated for the energy sector reconstruction and training sappers. Nearly ₴2.2B provided by the EU to support the state budget will be used for reconstructing and modernizing port infrastructure.
