Foreign investors in Ukraine are most interested in the defense sector, which has export potential.

Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko said foreign investors are most interested in developing the Ukrainian defense industry.

“Because everyone understands that Ukraine is a great field for testing technologies and innovations,” she added.

As the minister emphasized during the Second International Summit of Cities and Regions in Kyiv, investors understand that Ukraine has great potential for developing its defense industry and exporting weapons in the future.

During the summit, President Zelenskyy spoke about the European future for Ukraine and the need to unite in order to defeat Russia. According to the president, Russia has targeted not only Ukraine, but the entire European continent.

In her turn, the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, emphasized that the EU has stood with the Ukrainians since the beginning of the full-scale invasion and will continue to help in every possible way. She also expressed confidence in Ukraine’s European future.
