For the first time, an industrial park will receive ₴150M in grant funds for infrastructure development through state support.
The Ministry of Economy reports that the first industrial park in Dnipro received funding under a state program to stimulate industrial park development within the framework of the Made in Ukraine initiative. The park’s managing company requested the allocation of ₴150M out of the total required ₴326.9M for the construction of a transformer substation.
The program provides for up to ₴150M in financing to ensure the construction of necessary infrastructure. These funds do not have to be repaid and can be used to cover up to 50% of the estimated cost of construction works, such as landscaping or construction of engineering and transport infrastructure. It is noted that one hectare of an industrial park can create 50 new jobs, and $1 of public investment in industrial park infrastructure attracts $6 in additional private investment.
