Europe’s gas price reached $3,060 for the first time in history.

Gas prices in Europe are rising rapidly and have already exceeded $3,000 per thousand cubic meters. During the day, the price of fuel has grown by 38%, according to the ICE. Gas futures for April delivery rose in the morning from $2,400 per thousand cubic meters at the market’s opening. Quotations quickly exceeded $3,000 per thousand cubic meters within two hours to $3,060 per thousand cubic meters. Prices are rising on the first day of trading this week, amid a gradual rejection of Russian gas by European countries and preparations of the US sanctions on energy imports from the aggressor country.
