Yesterday, Naftogaz announced the selection for the position of four independent members of its Supervisory Board. Today, the new announcement is to hire 20 top managers for the National Gas Company. About a year ago, Ukrzaliznytsia had the same announcement to hire a top manager for the company, and it was Boyden recruiting agency. A close friend of Ukraine Business News, who graduated with an MBA from one of the leading US schools, has 10 years of work experience in the international and local finance sector, and speaks three languages applied for this role. He was never been contacted by the recruitment firm, let alone called for an interview. Does this surprise us? Taking into account the talent pool of Ukrainian graduates who have returned home after graduating from the leading MBA schools worldwide, and developing international careers, it is astonishing that very few local firms which to benefit from this rich talent pool. Hopefully, this time, it will be a different story. As we all know, being a good guy is not a profession, and what about the talented women in this group?
