During the first year of the war, Ukraine’s largest agricultural producers increased their income to ₴100B.
In 2022, total income for the top ten agrarian producers increased by 27% to ₴97.65B ($2.65B). At the same time, half of the businesses from the top ten make up the enterprises from the MHP group. They earned ₴63.2B, or 65% of the total income from the top agriculture companies. All five companies posted higher revenue than in 2021, with the combined figure up nearly 50%.
Two more companies from the top belong to the Kernel group. The share of these enterprises in the aggregate income was 12%. However, their income decreased by 14% last year, from ₴13.5B to ₴11.6B.
Another company, Lebedynsky Seed Plant, which belongs to the LNZ Group, generated less income this year. Its share in total revenue decreased from 18% to 14%.
Podillia (+27% revenue), part of the Ukrprominvest group, also entered the agrarian top 10 farm firms. And Agrarian Company 2004, part of the VITAGRO group, increased its income by 44%.
