The IMF mission led by Ivanna Vladkova Hollar started discussions with Ukrainian authorities on the second revision of the IMF-supported program. In June 2020, the IMF launched a loan program for Ukraine, which allocated $5B; it is designed for 18 months. The first tranche of $2.1B was provided immediately. In November last year, the IMF Executive Board extended the program until the end of June this year. After the revision, IMF might allocate another tranche of about $700M.
