Drones, missiles and air defense reinforcement: Ukraine’s allies announce hundreds of millions in support.

At the 29th Ramstein format meeting, which was attended by 52 countries and organizations, Ukraine’s international partners confirmed their support for Ukraine in its fight for freedom and peace. The US, Canada, and EU countries announced additional assistance packages and the introduction of new cooperation mechanisms.
In particular, the Allies will provide Ukraine with the following assistance:
- The US, together with NATO, is initiating a mechanism that will allow European countries to purchase American weapons for Ukraine and assist with the supply of Patriot air defense systems with funding from Germany, Norway, and the Netherlands.
- Germany is transferring more than 200,000 missiles for Gepard systems and is financing the purchase of Ukrainian long-range drones.
- Canada is allocating CAD 20M ($13.5M) for the maintenance of Ukrainian tanks and supports the Danish model of defense industry financing.
- The Netherlands is providing €200M for interceptor drones and another €125M for F-16 maintenance.
- Norway will allocate €1B for drones in 2025, of which €400M will be for purchases from Ukrainian manufacturers.
- Sweden is preparing a new aid package with air defense, artillery, and equipment.
