Drivers paid almost $10 million in speeding fines during the first year of traffic cameras

While the number of accidents in Kyiv and Kyiv Region has changed little, the number of fatal accidents is down by almost 12%. In June 2020, 48 traffic cameras were installed, largely around Kyiv and Kyiv Region. By the 2024, the end of President Zelenskiy’s term, the goal is 1,500 across Ukraine.
