Dmytro Kuleba voices some expectations from the Ukraine-EU summit.
At the Ukraine-EU summit several industry documents and a joint statement will be signed, and work is still ongoing, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba. He clarified that Ukraine is preparing to submit the results of the implementation of all seven recommendations from the European Commission and expects a positive assessment of Ukraine’s efforts by the EU. “We count on significant progress in approaching the EU internal market, cooperation in the energy sector, and in the field of renewable gases”, Kuleba added. According to him, the key issue on the agenda should be establishing the earliest possible start of the negotiation process regarding accession to the EU. New EU sanctions, the security situation, the implementation of the peace formula, bringing the Russian Federation to justice for crimes, and the post-war recovery of Ukraine will also be at the center of the summit discussion.
