Despite the war, Ukraine plans to open six new shopping centers with a total area of more than 180,000 square meters.
The Ukraine Shopping Center, with a total area of 20,434 square meters, will open in Uzhgorod in December 2024.
At the end of the year, the 5,600-square-meter Rosvygivsky shopping center is also expected to be launched in Mukachevo.
The new A7 shopping center in Ivano-Frankivsk, with an area of 10,000 square meters, will open in November.
Work to increase the area of the Family Mall shopping center in Stryy by 26,100 square meters is also being completed. The first stage will be launched in the second quarter of 2025, and the second will be launched in 2026.
In the coming months, construction of the Kvartal City shopping center in Lviv will start with an area of 51,300 square meters. The launch is planned for the first quarter of 2026.
Also this year, the Ternopil region will start construction of a large shopping center, one of the largest in the western region, Warshawsky. The total area of the shopping center will be 64,367 square meters.
