Despite the war, reconstruction is ongoing across Ukraine.

The government has approved the allocation of ₴14.5M from the fund for liquidating the consequences of armed aggression to finish building two key infrastructure projects in the Kherson and Chernihiv regions. These include water treatment facilities in Vysokopillya (Kherson region) and updates to the internal power supply system and facilities at the Chernihiv Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children.

Additionally, by the end of 2026, a new nine-story building that will provide housing for 270 people, with underground parking and shelter, will be constructed in Borodyanka (Kyiv region) at a cost of ₴258.50M ($6.2M). This will replace the building destroyed in March 2022 by Russian forces. Another ₴30.29M will be spent on renovating an apartment building in Bucha, Kyiv region.

Also, the Netherlands will grant €35.5M to Zhytomyr for the construction of a modern, multi-specialty city hospital. Lithuania will build a new school hub in the city for €17 on the site of a lyceum destroyed by Russian forces.

As well, IT company EPAM Ukraine is allocating ₴1M to support Lviv Polytechnic National University, which was damaged by a missile attack on July 12.
