Despite negotiations on a grain agreement and complicating Ukraine’s problems with the land grain export, Russia attacks its ports, and Ukraine responds.
On the night of September 7, the Russian occupiers attacked the southern Odesa region with attack drones. Air defenses shot down 25 out of 33 drones. Two civilians were injured, and civil and port infrastructure, an elevator, and an administrative building were damaged in several regional settlements. The blast wave destroyed a few private houses. This is the fourth attack in the Izmail district in the last five days.
That same night, a fire broke out at a warehouse in the Ramen region of the Moscow region, the result of a UAV attack. The flames covered more than 1,000 square meters. The mayor of Moscow confirmed the drone attack on the city but said it was shot down.
Also, three explosions occurred in Rostov-on-Don after the drone attack. One took place near the headquarters of the Southern Military District of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
