Denmark will send $337M in aid, and the Czech Republic has found money to purchase an additional 200,000 artillery shells for Ukraine; what else are Ukraine’s allies preparing?

The Danish government announced a new $337M (DKK 2.3B) military aid package for Ukraine. The package contains CAESAR self-propelled artillery systems and ammunition.

Meanwhile, Poland announced the 45th aid package for Ukraine and joined the Czech initiative to purchase shells for Ukraine. The head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Radosław Sikorski, noted that this is a significant financial contribution.

Therefore, Prime Minister Petr Fiala announced that in addition to the confirmed purchase of 300,000 artillery ammunition for Ukraine, the Czech initiative promises another 200,000. However, Fiala’s adviser on national security, Tomas Poyar, specified that the ammunition purchased by the Czech Republic would start arriving in Ukraine only in June.

Notably, German authorities have decided to modernize and return to working condition all Taurus long-range missiles in service with the Bundeswehr. This decision means the German government can transfer missiles to Ukraine in the future through an exchange scheme with Britain.
