Denmark is working on a new aid package for Ukraine, and Estonia wants to create a joint defense enterprise and a €20M support package.

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba met with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen in Brussels to discuss Ukraine’s priorities in defense support.

“We discussed Ukraine’s priority needs in military aid, particularly air defense systems and missiles. I am glad that Denmark is working on a new military aid package to strengthen our defense,” Kuleba said.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, discussed the creation of joint defense enterprises with the President of Estonia, Alar Karis.

In addition, Estonia expressed interest in the Czech initiative to purchase ammunition for Ukraine from sources outside the EU. Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna did not disclose Estonia’s specific contribution, but, according to him, the Baltic country’s government decided two weeks ago to prepare a new package of military support for Kyiv. The amount of aid will reach €20M and consist mainly of ammunition.
