Cherkasy Azot is launching a project to produce the AdBlue additive.

This unique additive is used to reduce NO (nitrogen oxide) emissions from cars with diesel engines. The production launch will meet Ukraine’s demand for high-quality certified reagents and displace imported products. Currently, negotiations are underway with the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) to audit and subsequently license the AdBlue brand. The company expects to produce 10,000 tons of AdBlue per year, and sell it in Ukraine and EU markets, announced the DF Group in the press release. The volume of investment will be announced after the project launch and will include all necessary certification procedures.
