By fall, Russia will be able to launch more than 1,000 drones at a time at Ukraine.

Another raid on Kyiv has caused significant damage to infrastructure and killed civilians. The Russian military is increasing its production of kamikaze drones in order to intensify its strikes on Ukrainian territory. It is expected that in the coming months, Russia will boost the number of drones that are used in its attacks.

“Military analysts expect that by fall, Russia will regularly launch more than 1,000 drones per salvo,” writes the NYT.

During the attack on July 9, the main strike targeted the Volyn region in western Ukraine, near the border with Poland. These strikes aim to destroy warehouses or disrupt weapon supplies through Poland.

On the night of July 10, Russia attacked Ukraine with 400 attack drones and 18 missiles, mainly in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The shelling of the capital killed two people, injured 25, and damaged housing, medical, educational, commercial, and transportation infrastructure.

As of early July, at least 265 civilians had died in Kyiv from Russian attacks, including 14 children. Over 1,650 people were injured, 136 of whom are minors. More than 1,800 apartment buildings were also damaged.
