Brussels plans to discuss the 11th package of sanctions against Russia.

The EU has planned the terms of discussion for the next package of Russian sanctions in connection with the aggression against Ukraine. According to three European diplomats, Brussels is planning a new round of talks between the European Commission and EU ambassadors on the 11th package of sanctions after Easter, celebrated in the Western rite on April 9.

The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, previously stated that the next package will focus on combating sanctions evasion and eliminating loopholes. Last month, immediately after approval of the 10th sanctions package, EU diplomats expressed their worries that the bloc has exhausted all possible tools to damage the Russian economy for the war in Ukraine.
