British defense companies are considering becoming a part of the Ukrainian military industry.
Anne-Marie Trevelyan, the Minister of State for the Indo-Pacific Region of Great Britain, said this and added that due to Russia’s war against Ukraine, the global military industrial complex has become significantly more active.
“Working with our industrial partners and allies around the world, we are finding the right way to share technology to ensure they are better protected. This is a constant challenge, unfortunately, because of Putin’s illegal invasion of Ukraine,” she said.
Trevelyan emphasized that “Ukraine has always had brilliant engineering and defense potential.”
“I think Ukraine will have many opportunities to become essential to the international defense partnership. In the long term, world-class British defense enterprises can become part of Ukraine’s industrial complex,” she said.
