Britain officials want an Economic Rammstein to hurt Putin’s war machine.

Alicia Kearns, a member of the Parliament of Great Britain from the Conservative Party, points to data published by the chief economist of the Institute of International Finance, Robin Brooks, which indicates that Western sanctions have not brought the expected impact on the Russian Federation’s economy.

“We have not been able to strangle Putin’s war machine adequately financially, and we must deprive him of the ability to finance attacks on civilians,” Kearns stressed. Therefore, according to her it is necessary to mobilize governments to coordinate economic and military actions.

Kearns’ idea is to hold meetings similar to the Rammstein military meetings where Ukraine’s partners will work together to undermine the financial ability of the aggressor state to continue financing the war against Ukraine.
