Britain and Sweden have announced their readiness to send peacekeeping troops to Ukraine.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that his country is ready to send troops to Ukraine to ensure the implementation of a peace agreement, if necessary. Starmer emphasized that any participation by the country in ensuring Ukrainian security also contributes to the security of Britain and the entire continent.
“Britain is ready to play a leading role in accelerating work on security guarantees for Ukraine. This includes additional support for the Ukrainian army, within the framework of which Britain has already pledged to allocate £3B per year until 2030,” he said.
In turn, Swedish Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard has also not ruled out the possibility of sending Swedish troops to Ukraine as part of a post-war peacekeeping contingent.
Meanwhile, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson stated at the Munich Security Conference that before deploying a peacekeeping contingent to Ukraine, definite rules of engagement in the event of an attack must be established.
Poland, however, has stated that it does not plan to send troops to Ukraine.
