Blinken accuses China of helping Putin continue his aggression against Ukraine.

The West has received evidence regarding the supply of weapons. By exporting goods to Russia that strengthen its military-industrial complex, Beijing is fueling Putin’s “military machine,” US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said at a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during the UN General Assembly.

According to Blinken, China supplies 70% of the machine tools and 90% of microelectronics that Russia imports, including those used for the production of armored vehicles and missiles. The diplomat emphasized that Washington will not interfere in Beijing-Moscow relations. However, “if these relations involve giving Russia what it needs to continue the war, this is a problem for us and for many other countries, especially in Europe.”

The Times, citing Western intelligence, reported that Chinese companies directly supply weapons to Russia, including military drones for testing in Ukraine. The Russian Federation also created a program for the development and production of long-range drones in China for use against Ukraine.
