Biden promises to continue supporting Ukraine but will not allow strikes on the Kremlin with US weapons.

The US and its allies will continue to help Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression to prevent the country from being enslaved and endangering Europe, US President Joe Biden said during a ceremony in France commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Allied D-Day landings in Normandy.

“The US, NATO, and a coalition of more than 50 countries support Ukraine. We will not back down,” he said.

Biden is convinced that Ukraine itself “will never back down, no matter what happens.” He also added that now the autocrats of the world are watching whether the world will put the brakes on the Kremlin’s illegal aggression.

“This cannot be allowed. Surrendering to bandits, bowing to dictators is unthinkable,” he emphasized. At the same time, the American leader said that Ukraine cannot use American weapons to attack the Russian capital.

“American weapons are allowed to be used across the border, from where the Russians are striking specific targets in Ukraine. We do not authorize strikes 321 km deep into Russia, we do not authorize strikes on Moscow, on the Kremlin,” Biden emphasized.
