Biden calls the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine one of the main factors of world inflation.

US President Joe Biden said during his annual address to Congress that the COVID-19 pandemic and the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine are the main causes of global inflation. According to him, the pandemic has disrupted supply chains, and Putin’s unjust and brutal war against Ukraine has led to interruptions in the supply of energy and food and blocked grain export from Ukraine. Biden also once again emphasized the bicameral support of Ukraine. Furthermore, he addressed the Ukraine Ambassador to the US, Oksana Markarova, with the words that the US will support Ukraine as long as it is needed.
