Australia will provide Ukraine with 70,000 tons of coal.

 Australia will provide at least 70,000 tons of thermal coal to Ukraine free of charge, stated the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine on Facebook. “At the request of the Government of Ukraine, Australia will provide our country with at least 70,000 tons of thermal coal to strengthen energy security,” the statement said. It is noted that the Australian Government will cover the cost of coal and its delivery. In order to achieve this, the Australian Government has worked with the country’s coal industry to accumulate coal, which will be the country’s contribution to providing Ukrainian consumers with a reliable electricity supply.
