Australia provides $12M in military aid for Ukraine, while NATO says that Ukraine has already exhausted the Alliance’s military reserves.

The Australian government is providing Ukraine with a new $12.5M military aid package. It will include demining equipment, portable X-ray machines, a 3D metal printer, and anti-drone systems.

The equipment is produced by four Australian defense industry companies: DroneShield, Micro-X, Minelab, and SPEE3D. This new support brings Australia’s total provided aid to more than $580M.

In addition, an Australian Air Force E-7A Wedgetail aircraft has been deployed to Germany to support a multinational effort to protect a vital gateway for international humanitarian and military assistance to Ukraine.

In addition, the European Parliament offered to transfer 150 armored cars that were seized during an illegal attempt to transport them to Libya.

Meanwhile, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in Stockholm that active military aid to Ukraine has significantly depleted the Alliance’s reserves, so its members should immediately increase production to meet Ukraine’s, and its own, defense needs.
