As Ukraine prepares to target Russia with operations similar to Spider Web, it successfully strikes enemy aircraft at the Savasleyka airbase.

The country is intensifying efforts for new operations, with the SBU taking a prominent role, having demonstrated the ability to launch strikes deep inside Russia. Their objective is to reset the negotiating table.
To that end, on the night of June 9 the Ukrainian Defense Forces targeted the Savasleyka airfield in the Nizhny Novgorod region, damaging two fighter jets similar to the MiG-31 and Su-30/34.
Furthermore, drones attacked the city of Cheboksary in the Chuvash Republic of the Russian Federation, located 970 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the VNDIR-Progress plant, which manufactures antennas for Shahed drones, suffered damage. This plant specifically produces Comet satellite signal receivers that are designed to protect drones against electronic warfare tactics, and it is no longer operational.
Earlier, Ukrainian drones targeted the Bryansk international airport, where combat aircraft were stationed, destroying an Mi-8 helicopter and damaging an Mi-35.
