ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih has doubled its tax contributions.

In January-November 2021, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih paid UAH 13.4 bln ($493 mln) in taxes and fees, which is 2.3 times more than in the same period of 2020. In 11 months, the plant paid UAH 7.2 bln to the state budget and UAH 1.6 billion to local budgets. The company transferred UAH 982 mln of the single social contribution and UAH 3.6 bln as VAT on imports of raw materials. In total, for almost 16 years of operation, the company has paid over UAH 85 bln in taxes and fees. Of these, UAH 21.4 billion in income tax, reported uprom.info.
