About 1.1 million Ukrainian refugees have found work in the EU.

According to European Commission VP Margaritis Schinas, there are currently more than four million displaced people from Ukraine in the EU, a fifth of whom are children. In this context, the official pointed to the challenge associated with educating immigrant Ukrainian children. Currently, out of approximately 1.3 million Ukrainian children, only half study in the schools of their host countries. But a significant number of these children are able to study remotely in Ukrainian schools. Last year, about 16 million Ukrainians arrived in the EU, of which 11 million later returned to Ukraine, another one million people went on to other countries, and about four million displaced people remain in the EU.
