A US journalist, Brent Reno, has been killed near Kyiv.

American journalist Brent Reno has died due to shelling by the Russian occupiers in Irpen (Kyiv region). The New York Times publication clarified that the deceased journalist had not recently cooperated with the editorial office, and the NYT badge discovered with him was issued “many years ago.” “We are deeply saddened by the news of Brent Reno’s death. Brent was a talented director who worked with the New York Times for many years. However, he did not work for the New York Times in Ukraine. Besides Brent Reno, a photojournalist, Colombian-American Juan Arredondo, was wounded. He is now in the hospital and has had surgery.
