A Ukrainian manufacturer of electronic warfare technology has invested $500,000 in a unique anti-drone technology with AI.
Since early 2024, the Kvertus company has been developing EW systems that will operate noiselessly and will be able to plant AI-enhanced drones. Currently, Russian drones with machine vision are not being mass-produced. However, the company is already preparing to present a new, unique technology for drone suppression, which it is also testing on drones with AI. Kvertus has invested $500,000 in the development of EW technologies to counter such UAVs.
“We passed tests in conditions close to combat. We have now submitted documents for deployment,” the company says.
One of the advantages of the development is the ability to work with the Azimuth company’s electronic reconnaissance tool.
“We invested about $2M in the development of Azimuth and its successor, Ranger, over almost two years,” said Kvertus.
The company wants to sell its products abroad, but it is currently prohibited from doing so during martial law.
