A South Korean delegation is on its way to Ukraine to discuss countermeasures in response to the war’s escalation.

A South Korean delegation will visit Ukraine this week to share information about the deployment of North Korean troops to Russia and discuss cooperation measures, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol said. President Zelenskyy and Yoon Suk Yeol spoke over the phone and discussed the involvement of the North Korean military in the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

“There is only one conclusion – this war is internationalized and goes beyond the borders of two states,” Zelenskyy said.

According to the president, the enemy transferred another 3,000 North Korean troops to training grounds near the front, and this number is expected to increase to 12,000.

Therefore, the parties agreed to strengthen the exchange of intelligence and expertise, intensify contacts at all levels to develop an action strategy and a list of countermeasures in response to the escalation, and involve mutual partners in cooperation.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Korea, Choe Son Hui, is on his way to Moscow.
