A large food products manufacturer is seeking $20M to build a production facility.
Ukraine’s largest producer of cereals, Terra, will build an almost fully automated and energy-independent production facility in the west of Ukraine.
The company’s commercial director, Oleksandr Yasynskyi, said that the company is currently determining a site from among the Lviv, Ternopil, and Rivne regions to build a new plant. The company is also actively looking for an investment partner but simultaneously negotiating with a foreign bank to open a $20M credit line for the new plant.
He added that the company is also considering a partnership with major agricultural producers. Such a partnership would allow the formation of a new cultivation and processing company.
The new plant plans to process 300,000 tons of raw materials annually, producing 150,000 tons of products. The plant plans to build its bioboiler and produce green heat and electricity to meet its production needs. The company hopes to launch the new plant within a year.
