Separately the first vaccines under the UN’s COVAX initiative are to arrive in early April, Stepanov told Ukraina 24. Ukraine has paid for 1.5 million AstraZeneca vaccines from India, but delivery was suspended as India faced rising infections. Of the first batch of 500,000 that arrived in Ukraine one month ago, only one third have been used.
