The Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development together with the State Space Committee announced the completion of the next stage of negotiations with SpaceX on the launch of the Ukrainian satellite. The topic of launching a satellite is controversial, as many Ukrainians remember the ambitious project to create and launch the first telecommunications satellite “Lybid”. The Ukrainian government spent 24 years and about $350 million on the failed launch.
