A furniture company from Chernihiv expands its business and becomes a supplier to Epicentr, thanks to government grants.

Founded in 2023, Knap Knap Furniture from Chernihiv specializes in producing modern transforming furniture. Initially, the company operated in a small room with minimal equipment, and some operations had to be outsourced, which increased production costs. When the company started working with large chains, it became clear that its existing production capacity was insufficient, and expansion was necessary. The company decided to leverage government support and in 2024 received two grants under the Made in Ukraine program: one grant for processing enterprises worth ₴1.45M and an Own Business grant for ₴250,000. The equipment purchased with these grant funds enabled it to establish a full production cycle – from cutting to finished furniture – and to reduce dependence on external factors. Today, Knap Knap Furniture releases an average of one new product each month, has become a supplier to Epicenter, and is expanding its exports. In November 2024, the company moved to larger premises, created new jobs, and has the potential for further growth.
