Ukraine has invited Poland to join the SME Alliance and participate in the country’s rebuilding efforts.

At a meeting in Kyiv, Ukraine’s Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyrydenko, discussed the opportunities that are currently available to investors with the Polish delegation led by Poland’s Minister of Development, Krzysztof Paszyk.

“More than 3,000 Polish companies are already participating in Ukraine’s reconstruction projects, and the country is interested in greater involvement of private Polish business in working with Ukrainian manufacturers and in Polish investment in our economy,” Svyrydenko emphasized.

The meeting also addressed the practical aspects of attracting investment within the framework of the Ukraine Investment Framework (UIF), a key EU instrument for supporting Ukraine’s recovery projects. The Ukrainian side highlighted the UIF’s effectiveness as a tool for enabling the prompt launch of real projects on the ground, attracting international resources for business development. The Polish delegation was briefed on the current state and opportunities for cooperation in the energy and industry sectors.

Ukraine also invited Poland to join the SME Alliance, and the parties agreed to organize a series of separate meetings to present Polish businesses with investment opportunities in priority sectors.
