Business experts predict growth in Ukrainian exports.

The President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) Gennady Chyzhykov noted that last year the volume of Ukrainian exports reached 129.2 million tons of goods ($41B). The continuation of trade on the international market confirms not only businesses’ stability but also the ability to adapt to new global realities. He expects an increase in export volumes, primarily in industries where Ukraine already has strong competitive advantages: agro-processing, food industry, IT, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, and woodworking.

The key driver will remain products with high added value. Chyzhykov emphasized that the chamber’s task is to help businesses integrate into European value chains.

Currently, the UCCI is also exploring new markets for Ukrainian exporters in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. For example, the Chamber of Commerce assists companies with entering the markets of Kenya and Egypt with agricultural technologies, equipment, and processed products. He believes that foreign investors remain interested in Ukraine despite the military risk.

“Investors are attracted not only by our export potential, but also by the availability of international arbitration, digital services, and the flexibility of Ukrainian business,” he noted.
