Russia continues to terrorize Ukraine with air strikes, violating the energy truce.

On the night of April 6, Russian troops carried out a combined strike on Ukraine. Ukraine’s air defense shot down 13 missiles and 40 UAVs. Two days earlier, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile strike on Kryvyi Rih, killing 19 people and injuring nearly 80. Among the deaths were nine children who at the time of the attack were playing outside on a playground. Almost 20 high-rise buildings, six educational institutions, a restaurant, and more than 30 cars were destroyed.

A few hours later, the enemy attacked the city with Shahed drones. As a result of this attack, a woman died, and seven more people were injured.

The UN recognizes the missile strike on Kryvyi Rih as having killed the most children in a single attack since February 2022.

The Kremlin reported after the missile attack that they had hit a “restaurant” where a “meeting of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with foreign instructors” was taking place.

The aggressor also targeted the Kherson CHP with an FPV drone, though the energy sector ceasefire agreement is still in effect.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed Russia’s violation of the partial ceasefire.
