Ukraine is getting ready for peace talks.

President Zelenskyy has ordered the formation of a Ukrainian delegation to work with international partners in ensuring a negotiation process aimed at achieving a just peace. The team is led by Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha, Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, and Deputy Head of the Office of the President Pavlo Palis.
Ukraine was represented in this capacity in Saudi Arabia for negotiations with the US where it presented a list of two conditions that Kyiv will never accept as part of the peace talks: a ban on Ukraine’s participation in international organizations, including the EU and NATO, and size restrictions on the Ukrainian military.
Zelenskyy emphasized that a 30-day ceasefire is merely the first step before determining further actions towards concluding a peace agreement. Thus, it is possible that 30 days may not suffice. Concurrently, Ukraine has begun forming a national team to develop appropriate measures to monitor a potential ceasefire.
The EU has also stated that it will continue supplying Ukraine with weapons during the temporary ceasefire.
