The first French Mirage 2000 fighters and additional F-16s from the Netherlands have arrived.

On February 6, Ukraine received its first Mirage 2000-5 fighters from France, a transfer announced by Emmanuel Macron last summer. The initial batch was expected to include three aircraft. France also transferred two batteries of Crotale air defense systems in the NG modification, featuring enhanced radar capabilities and increased missile power.
Simultaneously, the Netherlands delivered another batch of American F-16 fighters to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As well, government officials from Ukraine and the Czech Republic discussed expanding defense cooperation, including the production and supply of large-caliber ammunition, exchange of military technologies, and the development of industrial collaboration. Currently, Czechia is producing rifles for Kyiv utilizing the Danish model and plans to localize production in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense has approved the use of high-speed Ukrainian UAVs – ZEUS and HADES – for use in the Ukrainian military. Since the beginning of 2024, the department has already approved for operation more than 40 models of Ukrainian UAVs and over 20 types of ground robots.
