Farmers are actively developing grain storage infrastructure.

The Podillia agrobusiness processes 1,600 hectares of sown land (sunflower, wheat, corn, soybeans) and before building its own elevator, grain had to be stored either in warehouses or through the services of third-party elevators, which was unprofitable. Therefore, last spring the construction of an elevator was commissioned from Ukrainian KMZ Industries, and the first test runs of the equipment were carried out at the end of autumn. The second and third stages of the elevator are planned to increase simultaneous storage capacity to 20,000 tons of grain.

KMZ Industries also signed a contract to supply a full set of equipment for the construction of a new elevator in the Volyn region with a capacity of 15,000 tons. Construction of the first stage should begin in the spring.

In total, from December 1 of last year to mid-January, KMZ Industries has already signed about 20 contracts to manufacture elevator equipment.
