Lending under the eOselya preferential mortgage program increased by 65% in 2024.
In 2024, more than 8,500 families took advantage of the preferential mortgage program eOselya, and the total volume of issued loans reached ₴14.6B, 45% more in number and 65% more in amount compared to 2023. In total, over the entire program, 14,840 families have received loans totaling over ₴24B ($0.57B).
Last year, the largest categories of borrowers were military personnel and law enforcement officers – 49% (4,165 people), Ukrainians who do not own housing – 27% (2,310 people), and doctors – 8% (653 people). The average cost of purchased housing is ₴2.4M, with an average area of 56.5 square meters.
Most often, borrowers chose the secondary market (67%), ready-made apartments sold by developers (24%), or housing under construction (9%).
The largest number of loans was issued in the Kyiv region and the city of Kyiv – 2,338 and 1,869, respectively. The Lviv, Odesa, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions were also leaders among the regions.
