Ukrainian companies take the lead in applying for international tenders within the Drone Coalition.
Ukrainian manufacturers have become the leaders in the number of applications for international tenders to produce interceptor drones through the Drone Coalition, submitting 32% of the total. In advanced FPV drones, Ukrainian companies were second, with 26% of submitted proposals. The companies that win tenders will receive orders for drones, which will then be tested and evaluated. If their armaments demonstrate promising results, larger orders for FPV drones from winning manufacturers are planned.
According to Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernogorenko, the many proposals from Ukrainian companies prove that the country is achieving its goal of scaling up drone production. This has already helped to create an asymmetric technological advantage over the enemy.
As well, 10 Ukrainian companies participated in NEDS, a defense and security exhibition that has been held in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, for 35 consecutive years. These companies produce various weapons, from conventional equipment to advanced military-technology innovations.
